An industry veteran with over 15 years of experience, Colwell previously served as Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Matomy Media Group. Before Matomy, he held senior management and sales roles at Relevance-X, the online behavioral and life-stage targeting division of Acxiom, and digital advertising agency SilverCarrot.

Marty Marion brings a broad digital perspective to Brave New Media. Supported by years of industry leadership in e-Commerce, Web Development, and Online Marketing, Marty’s career dates back to his management role at Meyers Printing Company in 1994 where his 11-year tenure established his online success by bringing the DeskTop Labels business to market as one of the first secure “Buy Direct from the Manufacturer” websites in existence. The DTL website was launched in January of 1996 and the first electronic order was received from France. The online reach of the DTL website extended into one of the largest labeling initiatives in U.S. Naval history.
In 2005, Marty partnered with local and overseas interactive marketers and web developers at Kingclicks LLC. Macy’s, The Minneapolis Downtown Council, University of St. Thomas, Boone and Stone, are some of partnerships he and his team developed. Marty’s Affiliate background started when he joined Deluxe in 2010 where he was actively engaged with their paid search team and affiliate programs, which include Shop Deluxe, Bags & Bows, and Deluxe Services. Marty recently accepted a new position at Brave New Media (a local Twin Cities agency), where he now manages and leads BNMs client digital strategies that expands through paid search, affiliate, earned media, email and social.

David Naffziger is CEO of BrandVerity, a firm that provides technology solutions to affiliate managers to combat trademark abuse and advertising fraud. BrandVerity’s services monitor paid search and social media for abuse by affiliates. Affiliate managers, agencies and networks use BrandVerity’s service to monitor and protect thousands of brands. Prior to BrandVerity, David was VP of Engineering at Judy¹s Book a Seattle-based local search company. Prior to Judy¹s Book, David co-founded and was Director of Research at Quova prior to its acquisition by Neustar, Inc. (NYSE: NSR). David received his BS from MIT.

With over 10 years of performance marketing insight, Smith has led advertiser, agency and publisher teams, responsible for the growth and optimization of over 1,200 performance marketing programs across 200,000 publisher partnerships.
Smith received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and holds an MBA from the University of Scranton.
Prior to joining Ebates, Bob was Director of Partnerships for RecycleBank, a green tech venture-backed business which rewards consumers for recycling in over 25 states and the United Kingdom. RecycleBank was the Wall Street Journal’s top venture capital-backed Cleantech company and was number four on the Journal’s “Next Big Thing” list of top venture-backed companies in any industry. Bob’s sales and business development responsibilities included building long-term relationships with Fortune 500 consumer companies as well as being the lead on developing RecycleBank’s affiliate program, working with numerous online retailers.
Prior to RecycleBank, Bob was Director, National Sales for MyPoints.com, where he worked with national retailers developing online advertising strategies. Before joining the MyPoints sales team, Bob headed the Client Strategy department where he provided strategic advice to the sales team and assisted in the development of successful interactive campaigns for national advertisers.
Bob has been working in the affiliate space since 2000. He resides in Summit, NJ with his wife and two sons, and their yellow lab, Scout.
