As the Head of Online Marketing, Yuriy oversees Grammarly’s customer acquisition and retention programs. From SEO to Paid Search, Display Advertising, Affiliate Marketing, Conversion Optimization, Email and CRM — it all falls within Yuriy’s domain. Grammarly is an automated proofreader and writing enhancement application that helps millions of users improve their lives by improving communication.

Prior to Grammarly, Yuriy helped build out an in-house marketing team at DriversEd.com, a leading online drivers education provider. Concurrently, he ran an online marketing consultancy practice called ConvertMe Media, where he managed upward of five clients at any given time. He got his start in digital marketing on the agency side, managing a variety of PPC and Affiliate clients at LeadQual, a Bay Area online marketing agency. Before jumping into the tech start-up scene, Yuriy spent a few years on the finance side, first as a portfolio manager at Merrill Lynch and later as a private equity analyst at Blue Horizon Equity.
